Doll Christmas Tree

When I went to get our christmas tree I saw these little (real!) christmas trees and I had to get one for my girlies. It's not proportionally the prefect size but it stills works.

I went to the dollar store...

... or post for more chances to show off some doll stuff...

 So the boring stuff:

Pick:

Bands for hair (especially Kit)

Then these are the cute things I got

Dominoes is a big thing in my family so when I saw this set I went wild!

here's Sam asking Mama if she should play that piece:

The last thing was:

An overnight bag!!

It's really roomy inside it fits Lanie's nature outfit boots and all:

Since it's an overnight bag I probably would just pack the girls PJs and an extra shirt though. I still really want a backpack, and a suitcase. Then I'll be done with luggage for my girls. I think... :)

Emma Book

I had to make a book for Aria, and what better then her favorite Emma by Jane Austen. It took me forever to format the inside! I was so frustrated that I cut it out one by one and glued it back to back. When I realized that wouldn't work I went back to the computer and formatted it in about 3 seconds. Sigh God works in funny ways. Anyway, digression over,  here are some pictures of it:

This is what I used for the binding:

It was way too big so I had to cut it:

Here is the cover:

Tada!

< The first and last couple of > pages are actually from the original text.

The Middle pages are from a chapter by chapter summery I found at http://www.austen.com/emma/

Here is the Felcity special edition book for comparison:

Here's a picture of when I tried to format it by hand:

Here's the link I used for the cover if you'd like to try it yourself. You can resize it however you want once it's saved to your computer.

Ahh the Suspense

So I'm being played with in a cruel cruel manner. Aria Grace is here, sitting all wrapped up! I can't open her for another 24 days. Sigh...

Waiting .... so hard!
I'm going to need to pray for patience.

P.S. I wonder what's in the other two boxes... hmmm.

Personality Necklace

I really loved the idea of the charm keeper necklace that american girl has, but I do not like their charms. I think the necklace should show the dolls' personalities. Therefore, I have made my own little personality charm necklace for Aria Grace. I have a treble clef (because she loves musicals) a Phantom of the Opera and a Mr. Knightley charm (because she loves Phantom and Austen particularly Emma) I'm thinking about a Tangled charm (I LOVE THAT MOVIE, and she will too)  and maybe an Anne of Green Gables charm, but we will see. Without further ado here it is:
